Ink Splattered Background for Sunday Stamps Sketch Challenge #82

Welcome back to another Sunday Stamps Challenge post!  This fortnight we are offering a sketch for you to work with:

There are so many ways that this sketch can be interpreted!  Here's what I did:

The background was created by inking an acrylic block with Cranberry ink, placing the white CS next to the block and then spritzing the block with water so that the ink splatters onto the card.  The yellow patterned paper is recently retired Jubilee from Close To My Heart.  The side strip panel starts with Pacifica CS with Free to Be Me Gold Foil vellum on top (although this photo does not do it justice it is very shiny gold!).  Next is a stripe of Cranberry Fleur Des Jardines B & T paper and last is a piece of gold ribbon.  The embellishments are a red button with the gold foil on its center and 2 flowers from the Colonial White Rosette Ribbon.  The greeting is from the new Close To My Heart set called Seaside Greetings and was stamped in Pacifica Ink.

How will you interpret this sketch?

We can't wait to see what you create using this sketch!   Please use a direct link to join us here and include a link back to us in your blog post.  (Feel free to post our sketch graphic too to let your readers know about our challenge.)  You have until Friday, August 22 at 6PM EST to enter this challenge.

Please take the time to visit the rest of the Design Team's blogs and leave them some appreciation.  HollyJoanBrendaStephAngel and Kathya.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

:) Marie
